Second Sunday in a row that I feel like death. It might have something to do with the fact that I haven't had a decent night sleep in at least 11 days, but that's beyond the point. Sitting in a Madison coffee shop on this fine bye-week Saturday, I couldn’t figure out why October 15 was a date that stuck out to me. I checked Facebook- no important birthdays, no notable invites or parties. I thought about family things; no birthdays or anniversaries or deaths came to mind. Well the obvious answer for this is "my friends", both from FHS and ND. I had some major, life-changing experiences as a teenager and beyond and without these girls, I wouldn't have gotten through them in one piece.
Also, I just had a war flashback to how messy the family rooms at Bulla house were. Yikes.
